This instant miso soup is full of the mellow aroma and umami flavor produced by rice koji, and is made with plenty of malt.
The miso used in this instant miso soup is “Enjuku Koji Miso ”*, brewed in house, with bonito flakes, Souda bonito flakes, and kelp dashi as the main ingredients, and no chemical seasonings are used to create a gentle taste.
The four ingredients are an assortment of wakame seaweed, tofu, komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach), and naganegi (Japanese leek).
Mutenka Enjuku Koji Miso” is Hikari Miso's signature additive free miso made with organically grown soybeans, domestically produced rice, and sundried salt.
