Oyaizu Seiichi Shoten Shizuoka Fukamushi Style Tea 300g

This deep-steamed sencha from Shizuoka Prefecture has a good color and taste. A generous 300g (1 bag) of this deep steamed sencha is perfect for home use.
Fukamushi-Sencha is made from tea leaves that have been slowly steamed for about twice as long as tea leaves that are usually steamed for 45 to 60 seconds to stop oxidative enzymes from working during the tea production process. Because of the longer steaming time, the tea leaves fibers are more finely ground during the process, resulting in a richer aroma and flavor, and can be served in boiling water in a shorter amount of time.
