Ueno Fugetsudo Gaufre Cookies
Gaufres were created in Tokyo in 1929 by the Fugetsudo family. At a time when sugar sweetened Japanese confectionaries were considered superior ones with minimal sugar, the crispy texture and elegant sweetness that melted in the mouth of gaufres were very well received, and still are today. This pack includes cookies with three kinds of cream (vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate) sandwiched between wafers of about 15cm in diameter.
